Celestial Fyre Dalmatians strives to produce high quality, outstanding dispositioned, LUA Dalmatians intended to be family members. Our dogs are raised in the home environment and are members of our family. All of our Dalmatians are health tested for hips, thyroid, hearing and eyes prior to breeding. While our primary objective is to produce high quality pets, occasionally, breeding stock and show prospects will be available to approved breeders/handlers that have a history and commitment to health testing and on contract to health test prior to breeding.
What is a LUA Dalmatian?
LUA stands for Low Uric Acid. Standard Dalmatians lack the ability to process purines, which is a protein in certain foods, and they tend to form Urate bladder stones. If these get stuck in the Dalmatian's urinary tract, the dog is unable to urinate and this is a life threatening problem. With proper diet and hydration, standard Dalmatians can live normal healthy lives. With LUA Dalmatians, there are no dietary concerns and they will not form Urate stones.
Set Up For Success
Our puppies are socialized to kids, dogs, people and cats. They are dewormed at least 3 times, microchipped, Baer tested and have at least 2 vaccinations prior to going to their new homes. Puppies are started on house training and crate training as well.
